How to install a Google Play App, if you have wrong country code

To change the country code in Google Play can be a real hassle because it's not clear how it works and even when you live in the 'right' country for a while, Google sticks to your old country, as long as you don't qualify for the new country (probably with a payment method from the new country).

Therefore open a browser window in incognito mode (like in Chrome) and goto Google Play. There search for the app and click on install. Then you will be asked to log in and you can do this and the app won't disappear !!! ;-)

How to convert from MP4 to DVD and burn it in one tool for free !!!

Use DVD Flick to prepare Video_TS and Audio_TS files and even to burn on CD / DVD.

Procedure:

1. Drag / drop MP4 files to Dashboard
2. Make sure you check 'Burn project to disc' in the project settings
   
   
3. Insert empty DVD in tray
4. Press "prepare DVD" (or similar ....)
5. wait until finished ;-))

Google Takeout unzip files: Cannot unzip file. File path too long (German: Fehler 0x80010135: Pfad zu lang.)

Error - if you experience "Google Takeout unzip files: Cannot unzip file. File path too long" what to do?

1. Unzip to C:\  (Root ... instead of download directory because download directory in win 7/8 means C:\Users\xxxxx\Downloads)
2. Rename downloaded Google ZIP-File to a shorter Name before extracting !! (For some strange reason Google uses extrem long ZIP-Names like (first.surname@gmail.com-20140801T160601Z-takeout-2
3. Use 7-ZIP to unpack instead of other tools.
4. If still not working - rename your Google Drive Paths to shorter names before downloading and then try again ...)

Alle Daten auf Android Handy vor Verkauf richtig löschen

Dazu ist es wichtig zu wissen, dass das normale Löschen via Einstellungen / Konten / "Sichern und zurücksetzen" nur die Einträge im Fileverzechnis löscht, aber nicht die Daten selber. Somit ist es mit einigen Tools mittlerweile möglich, die Daten auf einem gekauften Occasions Handy wieder vollständig herzustellen.

Besser sind die Daten geschützt, wenn man die Daten verschlüsselt (Einstellungen / Optionen / Sicherheit / "Gerät verschlüsseln"). Je nach Bedürfnissen muss das aber nicht am Anfang geschehen, denn das macht zumindest den Bootvorgang etwas langsamer und kostet natürlich zusätzlich Akku.

Also am besten damit warten, bis kurz vor dem Verkauf des Geräts, aber dann genügend Zeit einrechnen, denn der Verschlüsselungsvorgang kann mehrere Stunden dauern. Wer ganz sicher gehen will, kann danach sogar noch einen Durchlauf mit einem Speicherfüller machen. Also z.B. die Videokamera einschalten und laufen lassen, bis der Speicher voll ist und dann nochmals alles löschen!
