Goto https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/settings and switch from Silverlight (default) to Adobe Flash Player. (Unfortunately this option is not available in all countries). There's no 'save' - button, but the change is being saved immediately anyhow. So just go back to the Amazon Instant Video, select the movie of choice, connect to Chromecast by using "Google Chrome Cast Extension" and enjoy!
